Wrong staircase may lead to financial loss and bad health.

I was called by a man in South Delhi, he was in very poor health condition.Reason for his bad health was a wrong marble staircase, rising from Bharamshastra (center point) in the drawing room. This kind of Vaastu flaw should never be constructed at home.

A home’s center point should not be weighted down by heavy or big structures.If it’s there in the house, then people in the home will suffer from ill-health both physically and mentally.The center of the home or factory corresponds to the center of the human body from which a body’s energy flows.A heavy weight on that center in the form of a staircase is like asking for trouble.

The person’s kidney problems developed after he moved into the house,he said to me.From my experience, Vaastu flaws should be corrected immediately.If they are not,then Vaastu flaws start dominating family’s home. Another Vaastu flaw is that people make Looming Staircase in front of the entry or North-East corner. It causes the person imagine that vast problems confront him. Ideally, the stair case should be in South-East or North-West but not in North-East. There should be no passage underneath nor anyone should sleep under a staircase. Spiral staircases as we find in back of the plot are not advisable.

Following are the points to get maximum positive energy in house or office :

1. Keep a opening in north or east.
2. Let the sunlight stream into your office.It helps to make it  cheery.
3. Toilets should be in North-East which is an auspicious direction.
4. Don’t sit under a concrete beam while working in office.
5. Keep your space clutter free as much as possible.
6. Keep Aroma oil or light incense sticks.They help soothe your senses.
7. Keep an Amethyst(in rock or crystal form)or quartz crystal in cluster form anywhere near your workstation. Its simple yet effective way to keep stress at bay.But make sure to lock it when you go to home,otherwise it would be more stressful to you.
8. To counter Vaastu defects, plant a Tulsi tree in North-East and water it daily.

People who work spend most of their waking hours at the office,so it is imperative to have a harmonious work environment.Harmony at the workplace diffuses bitchiness,reduces politicking and minimizes gossip-things that can cause much unhappiness.

• Feng Shui repeatedly warns you to watch your back. Make sure you have a good back support where you sit.
• If you are in a desk job, ensure that the back of your chair is placed in such a way that there is a solid wall behind you.Sitting with your back to the door is incredible bad news.
  • Sitting with a window directly behind your back can also be bad.Close such windows with heavy blinds and display support symbols (dragon tortoise, the turtle or painting of mountain) of career success behind you.
  •  If you cannot move your desk, hang a picture of scenery or an image of phoenix on the wall in front of you to symbolize your own personal “bright half”. 
  • If you are continuously being dodged by your co-workers, display a Rooster with  prominent beak and comb to counter office politics.
  • Place six Crystal Spheres of various sizes in the space you have consciously defined as your own. This will ensure your hours spent at work are pleasant and rewarding.

Sometime back. I visited a joint family living in India.The oldest married son was taking charas and ganja in extreme,his younger brother was equally wild and irresponsible. And their unmarried sister around 35 yrs of age was very egoistic.

The family was successful and had  paper business.Then they moved in to new house and their disasters followed them one after another.

Their father died and a year after their mother died.Even their paper business totally declined and it came to a point where they had to sell their furniture to get food.

Their family house,a 600 square yard had a major flaw,it had toilets in all corners of the house which was a major defect.All corners of the house receive maximum sun rays and in toilets people spend less time.

Vaastu prevents toilets in four corners of the house because each corner represents devtas and god.

• Northwest is house of Varun Devta,the wind god.
• Southeast represents represents the agni devta,the fire of god.
• The yama devta,the god of death represents south west corner.
• Ishwar represents north east corner of the house.

So vaastu believes that locating toilets in corners of the house gives disrespect to god.

The house had another vaastu flaw,it was designed like a dumb bell,which had no centee point.

I told them to rectify the house,by bringing down the wall and expand  homes center point called brahma sathana. I told them to convert toilets into something else and make toilets inside the house in west side.

It is believed that vaastu sastra developed sometime around 10000 bc and subsequently one can feel reference to it in the holy  epics of ramayana and mahabharata.

Vaastu sastra suggests landed propoerty as the best choice.

SOME VAASTU TIPS :

• Take a square or rectangular plot,do not go for irregular  shaped  plots.
• Do not take south west facing plot or flat.
• Ground should be higher  in south or west,lower or depressed in north east,if the plot is extended towards north east it is very good.
• It is ideal if apartment building is bounded by road on all four sides,avoid a block where the main entrance is facing T junction.
• If the space surrounding the block is unequal,then there should be more space  in  north or east.
• Buy the property which is always higher than road.
• Buy the property with plants and trees.
• Buy the property in which north east corner is extended.
• Buy the property if the rivers and ponds are in north.
• Buy the property if the front side is narrow and back side is wider.
• Buy the property if the hills or mountains are in south or west side.
• For office,the managing director  should occupy the south west quadrant,facing north,flooring of the room should be 15 cm higher than rest of the office.
• The general manager should occupy south or west quadrants,facing north or east.
• The finance manager should sit in the northern quadrant facing north.
• The sales staff should occupy north west quadrant.
• Showcases, racks ,cupboards should be against south or west.
• Reception in north west,water cooler or dispenser in north east.
• Office pantry in south east
• Toilets should not be in north east or south west quadrants.
• The center of office to be kept empty.

All these points will surely help in boosting business prospects  for all businessmen.

DINING  ROOM

It is favourable to have dining room in the west side of the building.If it is in the east or north of the building,it is satisfactory.

• While eating food,the head of the family should face east.Others can face east or north as convenient,but they should not face south or west as unnecessary quarrels take place.
• The dining table should not be round,oval or irregular shaped,it should always be square or rectangular.It should not be attached to the wall.
• There should be  arrangement  of water in north east corner of the room,the wash basin can be in north or east wall,but not in southeast or southwest of the room.
• There should not be any attached toilet in the dining room,but there is no harm in having a attached room that can be used for washing clothes or utensils.
• The door of the dining room and the main door entrance should not face each other.
• The colour of the dining room should  be pink,yellow or green.

KITCHEN

• Kitchen should be in south east corner of the building or flat.
• The main kitchen platform should be in east  or  south east corner of the kitchen.The platform should not touch the eastern and southern walls of the kitchen. It should be 2 or 7 cm always away from the wall.You can have a projection of 2 or 5  cm   while constructing the kitchen.
• While cooking,you should face east ensuring that your back does not face the door.
• The colour  of the floors  or walls of the kitchen should be yellow,orange,rose,brown or red.If there is refrigerator in the kitchen then it should be in north west of the kitchen.

NOTE:-Never plan a kitchen  below a stair case or adjoining a toilet.
