In Vaastu, North-east corner plays a great role. It represents water element. It is the corner of attachment and positive magnetic energy. It is ruled by Jupiter, the divine planet which bestows blessings to all. Newly wedded couple should not sleep  in this corner as it will disturb their married life and soon fights will start to occur leading to divorce. The best location for pooja room is North-east corner. We should sit and meditate in this corner.

The central portion of house or plot is called  BRAHMSTHANA. Vaastu is based on five elements i.e. Water, Air, Fire, Earth and Space.

The central part of plot  should be kept empty. It is the stomach of Vaastu Purush which resides  in the plot. Major diseases like spine injury, liver infection, stomach related disorders, cancer will occur if we do not keep center part free of weight . No pillars or beam is allowed in center of the plot or house. 

We should strictly follow Vaastu principles to lead a good and healthy life.
